Waiting for the Miracle is one of the first formal incursions into experimental music: a field in which I have been involved directly and indirectly throughout my career, through sound installations, collaborations with musical ensembles and live cinema events.

Composed by four tracks with an average duration of 2'30'' each, in this album we can find a series of sonic explorations in which sounds are generated by means of digital resources and soundscapes, thus creating atmospheres linked to the idea of contemplation -or in this case, active listening- as an act of spiritual character.

At the same time, it is pertinent to note that the duration of each track is linked to the concept of the miracle: an event as everyday as it is ephemeral, which usually goes unnoticed unless there is a symbol of it. In that sense, this album is an invitation to remain attentive to the sounds of our surroundings; to be on the lookout for the miracle that hides in fleeting situations and that, in short, shape our understanding of the world.

Waiting for the Miracle es una de las primeras incursiones formales en la música experimental: terreno en el que he estado involucrada directa e indirectamente a lo largo de su carrera, a través de instalaciones sonoras, colaboraciones con ensambles musicales y en eventos de live cinema.

Compuesto por cuatro pistas con una duración promedio de 2’30’’ cada una, en este álbum podemos encontrar una serie de exploraciones sonoras en las que los sonidos son generados por medio de recursos digitales y paisajes sonoros, creando así atmósferas ligadas a la idea de la contemplación —o en este caso, una escucha activa— como un acto de carácter espiritual.

Al mismo tiempo, es pertinente denotar que la duración de cada pista está vinculada con el concepto del milagro: un acontecimiento tan cotidiano como efímero, que suele pasar desapercibido a menos que exista un símbolo de él. En ese sentido, este álbum es una invitación para mantenernos atentos a los sonidos de nuestro entorno; de estar a la espera del milagro que se esconde en las situaciones fugaces y que, en suma, configuran nuestro entendimiento del mundo.
